About
Linden & Wild opened in 2017 on Don Cubero Alley in Santa Fe. I’d been making soap for friends out of a kitchen for about three years before that. I named the shop after the trees in my grandmother’s yard outside Albuquerque, a linden she planted when I was four, and a wild plum that came up on its own next to it. Linden Carver, proprietor.
Everything in the shop is made in the back room, twelve feet from the counter you’re standing at if you’ve visited in person. I source ingredients from local foragers, local growers, and a few suppliers I’ve used for ten years. The labels are printed at a shop on Canyon Road, on cotton paper I cut by hand.
I don’t ship every product. Some balms separate in transit, some candles crack, and I’d rather you wait for the next batch than receive something broken. The website tells you which products ship and which are storefront-only. If you have a question that the site doesn’t answer, my email is below.
